The Guardian's Shameful Abortion Centre Photo

For years we have had listen to lies from the media, politicians and abortion providers claiming that Pro-Lifers film clients going into abortion centres. Just last month we had staff from the abortion centre in Ealing on National Radio and the local MP, claiming that we live-stream from outside abortion centres. The Guardian have repeated all those claims time and time again. Yet no images of women entering or leaving abortion centres which have been taken by pro-lifers have ever appeared on social media or in the public domain. This is because pro-lifers DON'T photograph or film women entering abortion centres. We are there to offer help to pregnant Mums, it is unlikely that the hundreds of women that stop to talk to us would do so if we were filming.

Then on Sunday 26th November, the Guardian, who claim to be supporting women, published a photo of two women leaving the abortion centre in Ealing. [We have distorted the image above]. A 'pro-choice feminist' group calling itself Sister Supporter have also put up an image of another women attending this abortion centre.

So once again it is clear that the Pro-Lifers are there to help and respect women and the abortion campaigners are not. Please contact The Guardian and ask them to remove or distort the photo and ask them to never take or publish photos of women entering or leaving abortion centres again.

Please come to our vigils to pray and donate to help us support those women who choose life for their children.

Pope Arrives to Great Joy and the Media Struggle to Find the Nay-Sayers

The poor BBC. They do their best to find someone, anyone, who doesn't appreciate the Pope's teaching on moral issues or who wants to protest against his visit. But time after time they find Catholics who are just delighted he is here and happy to accept his words. My favourite is the mother of baby Maria who Pope Benedict kissed. "What does this mean to you?" asked the reporter. "It means I have to make changes in my life. It means she has been blessed by the Pope and now I must have her Christened." The reporter probes further, asking if as a young catholic Marzena finds it difficult to accept the Pope's teaching on moral issues. No she relies if something is good he says so, if something is bad he says so. He makes things very clear.

Oh well, here's wishing you worse luck next time BBC. Cheers!

Panorama and Sexual Abuse in the Catholic Church or Let's Repay Slander with a Blessing!

A number of programmes and newpaper reports have been spewing forth as erroneously about sexual abuse by Catholic clergy. For a bit of clarification on the truths of this issue have a look at the excellent information posted on Ecumenical Diablog.
It's a good reminder to pray for the victims of abuse, many of them are being used and abused again by the media for their own purposes now.

And while we are getting such a drubbing in the press, let's bear this in mind:

And finally, may you all be of one mind: compassionate, loving brotherhood, merciful, meek, humble, not repaying evil with evil, nor slander with slander, but, to the contrary, repaying with blessings. For to this you have been called, so that you may possess the inheritance of a blessing. For whoever wants to love life and to see good days should restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips, so that they utter no deceit. Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears are with their prayers, but the countenance of the Lord is upon those who do evil. And who is it who can harm you, if you are zealous in what is good? And yet, even when you suffer something for the sake of justice, you are blessed. So then, do not be afraid with their fear, and do not be disturbed. But sanctify Christ the Lord in your hearts, being always ready to give an explanation to all who ask you the reason for that hope which is in you. But do so with meekness and fear, having a good conscience, so that, in whatever matter they may slander you, they shall be confounded, since they falsely accuse your good behavior in Christ. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if it is the will of God, than for doing evil. For Christ also died once for our sins, the Just One on behalf of the unjust, so that he might offer us to God, having died, certainly, in the flesh, but having been enlivened by the Spirit.
